Songkran at Newcastle

Yesterday was a disappointing run from Songkran and not expected from George. He missed the start but was prominent and got himself into a great position coming into the straight, he was pushed along over 3f out but then was quickly outpaced at which point Kevin decided to ride in gently.

Having spoken with Kevin and George after the race they both said that there wasn’t any pace in the race and when it became a sprint he couldn’t go with them as that’s not his style. He will get dropped a few pounds again and we shall find a race for week commencing 11th October.
