Wynford wins at Pontefract

Well what a run yesterday Wynford had at Pontefract!! Jackie had him looking a picture in the parade ring before the race as you will see from the photographs. Kevin was back on board and rode him as planned, settling him nicely into the race and then making all as he entered the straight. As you will have seen both horses drifted across the course to the stand side rail with Wynford being stronger and closing out the victory and winning by 4 3/4 lengths.

Here is the review from the racing post :

WYNFORD added his third Flat success to an already excellent campaign, but it wasn't much of a race and it was still in the balance when he hung across the runner-up in the final 1f. He's unlikely to go up much and he should continue to give his running.
