Race review of Wynford at Market Rasen yesterday

It was a tremendous run from Wynford on his hurdles debut for Stoneleigh Racing yesterday. Carrying a huge weight of 12st 5lb the decision was to switch him off at the rear during the race and bring him slowly into contention in the last 6 furlongs. The plan worked well as Wynford started to go past horses but a combination of the weight and the softening ground took its toll. We are very pleased with his run and will now look for another suitable race.
