Race review of Wynford at Ripon last night

On a beautiful evening at ‘Yorkshire’s garden racecourse’ Wynford looked tremendous and behaved impeccably in the parade ring. The tactic was just to let him lead us in this first race so we would get to know more about him. He ran well throughout the race, keeping pace and with four furlongs out he was in the mix. Unfortunately his lack of match fitness meant he weakened in the final two furlongs and was only beaten by 5 3/4 lengths as they landed in a lump on the line.

All that attended felt this was a superb run and exceeded our expectations. Wynford will benefit from this run and we intend to get him on a course in the next 2/3 weeks. Attached is the debrief from our jockey Harrison Shaw and a video of him in the parade ring.
