Wynford 2nd at Carlisle

Becky had Wynford in top shape, he looked fantastic and he ran well, so much so that Megan couldn’t pull him up at the end. I think everyone that attended agreed that on a different night we’d have come home with first place and it was one that got away. I think the Racing Post perfectly summed up the performance:

Wynford , bidding for a hat-trick after wins over hurdles and on the Flat on the Newcastle Tapeta, looked rather lazy early but the further they went the better he was travelling and he was still on the bridle when produced to challenge. However, he clearly doesn't do anything quickly and having come under pressure by the time he responded it was just too late. He should be winning again before long.

Fortunately the members that came got to experience first place as Carlisle kindly invited us into the winners lounge as BE MY SEA didn’t have any guests attending.
