Mahanakhon Power

Mahanakhon Power is a strong dual purpose horse, very athletic and a sound stayer on the flat. He is a half brother to a decent juvenile hurdler (Lord Lamington) and seems to thrive on racing. He is 4 years old and was successful a couple of times on the flat but probably didn’t reach the heights that his first owners (Kingpower) had in mind when they paid £380,000 for him. He has had three runs in novice hurdle races to gain experience and has been allocated a handicap mark of 86. We believe that there is considerable scope for improvement when he continues his career in handicap races. Ground wise he has done his winning on good ground but we would be keen to try him on good to soft or soft ground. He is the perfect horse for Becky to train with the intention of targeting 2m handicap hurdle races in the north.
