Tetradrachm “Terry” wins on his debut for Stoneleigh Racing
Terry won a very competitive race today on his debut for Stoneleigh at Wolverhampton. The plan for him was to get him tucked in just behind the leaders and have him in a position where he could make a move if the pace wasn’t strong enough. Unfortunately it didn’t go to plan and he had to do it the hard way coming from last to first and running past everyone on the final bend to win by 7 lengths.
“An ordinary handicap was taken apart by Tetradrachm, who made a decisive move around the home turn. The gallop was an ordinary one up to that point.
TETRADRACHM, tongue-tied on this first run for new connections and this first start for two months, had slipped a fair way in the weights and ran out a decisive winner after circling the whole field on the wide outside. He stays further and will be of obvious interest if turned out before reassessment.”
