Maid puts Nottingham behind her and wins at Catterick

Well another cracking result from Catterick today in what looked like a tricky race with Tonto’s Spirit having won here convincingly in the past and being rated 72.

Maid was ridden as normal , she was Harrison held her up in rear and Tonto seemed to make all but ran out of steam on the run in, Maid ran wide and straight to the stands rail and soon closed up and ridden to lead well over 1f out she kept on well at the finish.

We will speak with Becky and see how she comes out of the race but the thoughts are that she will be out again in the next 2/3 weeks. Here are some more photographs of the day :
